Awesome video, and I loved the quote. Just yesterday I was told to keep shining. I will do my best.

Velda A, can you share more about the shining light you bring into the world?

This may not be the best way to get someone to stop bragging, but I once said to someone I was dating. “Michael, people who are truly great don’t have to tell anyone because everyone already knows”.

A better way to getting someone to start sharing may be to ask how they got so good at what they are bragging about.

Love these ideas, Kathy! When I hear people bragging, I’m starting to ask them what was joyous about what they are bragging about. So far, it has worked well. I have seen people shift their demeanor completely. I bet the same thing would happen with your second suggestion. It sends people into reflection mode and they begin to pull from a more authentic place of sharing.
